I always have a sketchbook in my pocket. Drawing forms the foundation of my image-making.
I work interchangeably with brush, pen, woodcut tools, and drypoint needles on paper, canvas, wood panels, or copper plates. My materials and techniques include oil, chalk, graphite, charcoal, oil pastel, wax/encaustic, watercolor, tempera, drypoint, woodcut, sugar-lift etching, lithography, and digital art prints.
