About

Åsa Elisa Dahlbeck studied 5 years at Valand Fine Art Academy, university of Gothenburgh ,specialising in painting and printmaking. She works with a range of techniques,such as oilpainting and watercolor to drypoint,woodcut and digital fine art print.
The craft itself , wether incising a plate or moving a brush across fine watercolor paper ,is important to her.It is both intresting and deeply rewarding.Drawing and study is a natural part of her creative process as she creates freely conceived images that aproches the real of poetry with color serving her ptimary means of expressen.She dras inspiration from everything she experiance and observes .as well as from litteraturs and music.

Being a part of the millennia.old tradition of image-making feels fantastic!
There is such an immense welspring of knowledge to. draw from.
I squeeze a new dags of print onto the pallete.The brush comes out and sweeps across the blank surface and an image takes shape.
